I AM NOT MY HAIR
I have seen girls cry as their hair was shaved before being sent to school
and have seen working ladies go to the salon proud to get their hair shaved,
I have seen mothers shave their daughters hair so that it grows longer
and I have seen the same ladies all grown up put chemical on their hair so that it's long and curly like what we see on TV,
I have heard of ladies selling their hair to get some money
while others spend most of their income to buy that hair,
MY HAIR
Responsible for a lot of my bad and good days,
Responsible for a big part of my personality
BUT I AM NOT MY HAIR.
